To the outside of the property is roadside parking for two cars on a first come, first served basis and an enclosed courtyard with sittimg area. This beautifully-presented end of terrace cottage is in the village of Longframlington close to both Morpeth and Alnwick. Edendale provides the perfect base for exploring the wonderful county of Northumberland, where family or friends can stay in comfort. Upon entering you are welcomed by a cosy, character filled sitting room with original inglenook and woodburning stove, an ideal place to curl up with a good book or catching a movie after a day out exploring. The sitting room leads you up two steps through to a light and welcoming, well-equipped kitchen with dining area. The cottage stairs take you to three tastefully decorated bedrooms with the master overlooking the front of the property, two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom. From the dining area you can gain access to an enclosed rear patio, which offers a lovely space to enjoy some fresh air with a cuppa whilst planning your day’s activities. Longframlington is a lovely, friendly village with an award-winning grocery store, a first rate butcher’s shop and an excellent pub/restaurant. Brinkburn Priory is nearby with its peaceful riverside setting. The National Trust's Cragside House and the historic market town of Alnwick with its imposing castle and gardens are a short distance away. The stunning Heritage Coast with its historic castles and endless beaches are under half an hours’ drive away as are the breathtaking Cheviot Hills. Wherever you go, you’ll be spoilt for choice. This is a perfect cottage in an excellent location for discovering the delights of this lovely region at any time of the year.
The village of Longframlington sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots. Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trusts Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is just a 15-minute drive to the east, offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, lies just 11 miles to the north and is well worth a visit.

Loved staying at this cottage. it was very well stocked in the kitchen and the beds were really comfy. Ideally situated the village has great shops that stock everything you need general store pubs cake/bread shop and butchers all are of a high quality and walking distance. If you have a dog plenty of walks nearby and a dog field 5mins away. The cottage was done to a very high standard and very comfy with the owner ready to answer any queries . All in all I would definitely recommend a stay here beautiful cottage and part of the country
A fantastic cottage with everything you could need. Tastefully decorated and really comfy beds. A great welcome pack from Terri and she is very responsive to any problems. Cottage is in a great location with easy access to both beach and country walks. The village has two pubs the village has a good pub atmosphere and the granby does great food, the cake at the running fox is not to be missed.
