Reviews

Very peaceful break in a lovely cottage. Right on the Cinder Track which our sheepdog loved, walking to Robin Hood’s Bay & Ravenscar. Cottage Val has everything you need for an away from it all break - warm underfloor heating, hot water all the time, comfortable seating & very pleasant interior decoration. The owners are very friendly. Ample car parking although it was nice to forget about driving for the week & explore the area via the Cinder Track.

We loved this holiday let. Amazing views, comfortable and warm accommodation. And our border collie loved the walks. What more do you need?

The photos do not do justice to this idyllic property, which caters for all your needs if you want peace and quiet, you can enjoy the coastal view from the patio at rear of cottage. "Cottage Val" is off the beaten track and has great walks, the "Cinder track" (Old railway line Scarborough to Whitby) runs along the back of this cottage, which is a lovely walk. It has a lovely log burner and also easy to adjust underfloor heating. We will definitely come back again.

We had a fantastic time at Cottage Val. A beautiful location, lovely views, walks from the doorstep and so peaceful. The cottage itself was amazing, comfortable, well thought through and really relaxing. We couldn’t fault a thing!
