Note: The use of lockable bike storage is available (at guests own risk), access to the bike storage is for adults only due to maintenance equipment also stored in the room. Please note the heated outdoor swimming pool (lido) in Hathersage village should be booked online in advance to avoid disappointment.
Location Details
Situated within the Peak District National Park at the beginning of the Hope Valley and close to excellent walking at Edale, lies the village of Hathersage. For a village of its size there is a very good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as a public, open air heated swimming pool and railway station. This is a great setting for exploring the local area and beyond.
The ultimate in year-round appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Stayed here as part of a family holiday. The property is very clean, beautifully appointed and excellently equipped. One of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in. The view from the outside is wonderful and you can never tire of its constantly changing vista. Congratulations to the owners for ensuring this is fabulously done. The only down side to this great place is the road traffic noise to the rear that at times is a constant drone and the numerous train hooters from early morning till late at night coming from the valley track. However, this is a small price to pay for the view! The village of Hathersage is small but has everything you need. Just bear in mind that things close earlier is more rural locations. I would highly recommend this property and its beautiful Derbyshire location.
