To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a front seating area with a bench, as well as bike storage. Beacon Cottage is an excellent cottage for a small family or friends looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

This character stone-built cottage is situated on the edge of the historic village of Addingham which nestles in the valley of the River Wharfe between Ilkley and Skipton. This beautifully-appointed property provides ideal accommodation for a family or friends looking to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales National Park. Refurbished to a high standard, using quality British-made furnishings throughout, this cosy cottage has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare tasty meals to be enjoyed together in the dining area. The sitting room has a wonderful cast iron open fire set in a delightful wood and tiled surround, and with a lovely, comfortable sofa, is the perfect place for relaxing after a busy day out. Upstairs there are two inviting bedrooms with the double room, enjoying countryside views, plus there is a modern family bathroom. To the front of the property is a small front seating area with a garden bench where you can sit with an early morning coffee as you discuss your plans for the day ahead. The thriving village of Addingham has a good selection of shops to browse and is home to a several pubs serving fine ales and excellent food. There are beautiful walks to enjoy from the doorstep and the area is popular with both cyclists and walkers alike. Stroll along the River Wharfe and enjoy a picnic at Bolton Abbey, one of this region’s most scenic areas, or visit The Strid, a famous narrowing of the river with its gushing water, a must see. We were lucky enough to stay in this delightful cottage for a week recently. It is immaculate inside and has so many lovely homely touches. Spacious yet very cosy. In a great location both for walks or to drive to numerous beautiful sights. The local village is welcoming and has some lovely cosy pubs with great food. We will definitely be returning to this lovely cottage!

This cosy cottage situated on the edge of Addigham is in an ideal place for trips around the Dales close to public houses which serve excellent meals at reasonable prices, The property is presented in a very nice condition, Very comfortable, Every thing is provided , Car parking to the front of thr property . Well done to all , many thanks we will be back.
