This cute log cabin sits within 2.5 acres of lush gardens just a mile from Stithians village and 7 miles from Falmouth. Tucked away in the grounds of the owners home it will appeal to couples looking for a romantic getaway. The wood clad interior has been cleverly designed with a truly comfortable sitting room with squashy sofas ready to snuggle up together. The dining area opens to a functional kitchen with an electric 2 ring hob built into a small freestanding oven. There is a double bedroom and shower room with walk-in shower and WC. Stylish furnishings and fabrics blend cleverly with the outside environment to create a warm, inviting ambience. Enjoy the beautiful views over open countryside from the pretty patio and garden, where you can relax with a chilled drink on the benches dotted around or dine alfresco in the sunshine. The villages of Stithians, Perranwell and Ponsanooth are nearby with shops, inns and restaurants. Falmouth is just 7 miles away, a vibrant town with vast harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Hop on a boat trip from the town quay to take in the spectacle from the water or to visit St Mawes and Truro by boat. We' have just spent a week at this wonderful cabin and loved every minute of it, set in a beautiful cornish hamlet, the gardens, lily pond and stream on your doorstep, absolutely stunning. Owners are so friendly and welcoming and daily visits from Harry the one eyed cat who is also really friendly
We have just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely cabin in Cornwall along with our 11 month old black labradour. This is a beautiful place to relax and chill out. So peaceful and a large garden, field area to sit outside and let the dog explore and have a run. The lodge is so pretty and clean, everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Even fresh flowers, coffee and shortbread on arrival..A lovely comfortable bed and so peaceful and quiet. We explored lots of nearby places, St Michaels Mount, Falmouth and various beaches plus we enjoyed walking alongside the nearby reservoir and stopping off at The Golden Lion Pub on various occasions for coffee, lunch and also on the Sunday we ordered a Sunday lunch takeaway and enjoyed it back at the cabin where we could relax and not have to worry about trying to dine inside the pub with our lively dog!! Would highly recommend anyone thinking of booking this venue, very comfortable enjoyable stay. Thankyou so much it has been wonderful, we would love to come back one day xx
