The Granary is a cosy, character cottage located in the village of Walford near to Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with a family shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting area with a dining area. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking and a patio area with garden furniture to the front, and a lawned area to the side and rear. Located in the beautiful countryside, The Granary is a lovely cottage which can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

A well-presented, character cottage located in the heart of Walford, near to Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. Lovingly converted, the old granary features exposed beams throughout and well-furnished, the cottage is an ideal romantic retreat. Upon entering the cottage guests are greeted with a well-equipped kitchen featuring the old bread oven brickwork and a lovely breakfast bar. Relax in the comfortable sitting area or alternatively enjoy cooked meals in the dining area. Upstairs there is a cosy double bedroom which is accessed by stairs that are steep like a ladder with sloped ceilings and an abundance of exposed beams. On warm evenings, guests can sit out on the front patio area and enjoy a cold refreshing drink in the middle of the countryside. The village of Walford is ideally located for walking and cycling, with the Wye Valley Walk and Offa’s Dyke Path both close by. Guests can visit the traditional village pub for a warm meal or alternatively explore further afield, the famous 12th century Goodrich Castle is situated within the nearby village of Goodrich. The historic market town of Ross-on-Wye is just a short drive away and offers excellent shops, pubs and restaurants together with beautiful Tudor buildings and a 17th century majestic market hall.

One mile away is Kerne Bridge village with its Grade II listed bridge, canoe launch site, fishing, a riverside picnic area, along with a shop and pub. Goodrich Castle is situated within the nearby village of Goodrich. Nestling amidst the village's houses are the village hall, shop and two friendly pubs serving food.
