A well-presented bungalow situated in a prestigious cul-de-sac at Red Wharf Bay near Benllech, only a short stroll from the nearby sandy beach. This retreat has been designed with families, friends and travellers in mind, so you and your loved ones can spend some time away together in this lovely, quiet part of Anglesey. The comfortable lounge boasts two pleasant sofas, and a dining area has seating for up to six people, perfect for those charming evenings after the sun sets. The kitchen is well-equipped with soft furnishings and necessary appliances, so you have everything you need on hand when preparing those home-cooked meals. Assisting the layout, a cloakroom and a family bathroom lie nearby, ideal for getting ready ahead of your adventures. With the extras of a cot and highchair also available, this holiday home is perfect for the whole family. Set in its own grounds with beautiful gardens bordered by flowers, to the front, side and back, there is plenty of space to rest with a refreshing drink and take in the wonderful location. Within an easy drive to several popular tourist attractions including Anglesey Sea Zoo, Benllech, Beaumaris Castle and the Anglesey Coastal walk, you will be spoilt for choice. Only 6.5 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris, which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, olde-worlde pubs, restaurants, bistros, museums, as well as a golf course. A much-admired cottage in a tourist location.

The bay is very shallow, and at low tide almost 10 square miles of sand is uncovered to provide safe bathing, perfect for family fun and miles of scenic walks. Beaumaris, boasts a 13th century moated castle, lovely buildings housing excellent shops, olde-worlde pubs, restaurants, bistros, museums, as well as a golf course.

Cot and highchair (cot bedding not included). Off road parking. Garden to front, side and rear with patio and furniture. Garage for storage. One well-behaved pet welcome, however please no dogs allowed on the furniture or beds. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 9 mins walk. Note: No hen/stag or similar. Note: There are steps at the top of the garden, children should be supervised at all times Please note: This property now has an EV charging point which is payable on an app via a QR code on the charging point.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing break at Wendy and Jonathan’s ‘Glan Dwr’ cottage on Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey. It’s a truly beautiful part of the world; we generally took the path from the back of the road, (Parc Tyddin) down to the beach, then walked along the coast to excellent ‘The Ship Inn’ pub for a bowl of mussels and a drink while watching the sun go down over the bay. The property had everything we could possibly need; the size was more than ample. In the evening we’d often chill watching TV with the log burner on as the Ship shuts early, and we needed a little relaxation after a days walking. Our dog Alfie also loved Glen Dwr, and the enclosed garden gave us the security to let him out. There are three bedrooms; two doubles which have patio doors that open out into the garden. These not only afford pleasant views, but fill the property with light. A car’s useful; then you can take the brief 10-15 drive to the stunning Lligwy Bay beach at the end of which you can take part of the picturesque Anglesey coastal walk. You may wish to visit Beaumaris which is a quaint town, and eat at the excellent ‘The Bull’ pub. No criticism at all. We’ll hopefully be going back. If you like relaxing, maybe you should visit Glan Dwr too.. Highly recommended
This is a lovely house in a great area for dogs and short trips. There are safe walks to the beach and pub from the house. Neighbours keep the verges mowed so you can walk beside the nearest road too. The pub has sheltered outdoor eating. There are red squirrels about, I missed the one that ran past the house but saw where they'd been eating nuts. It's also quite a quick run to snowdonia if you want to do the white-knuckle stuff.
