This pleasant little cottage is tucked away into the village of Grewelthrope, resting amidst scenery and the meadows of Nidderdale. Well-suited for a small family or couples, this retreat promises a memorable stay, whether you plan on simply relaxing or touring the location. The ground floor features a light and airy lounge, tied together with two settees and a woodburning stove, to keep you warm when the nights get cooler. There is a well-equipped kitchen designed with black countertops and grey units, a classic place to dish up those home-cooked meals. Upstairs you will discover two bedrooms; the first is presented as a double with views leaning out towards the village pub, whilst the second holds a single bed overlooking the charming church grounds. Lastly, a family bathroom completes the interior, comprising of a bath with an overhead shower. Take in the lovely location by resting outside on the bench seating, a pleasant spot to admire the characterful surroundings, you will feel right at home, or take a stroll up to the duck pond then enjoy a nice refreshment in the nearby café. Hackfall woods, an area of outstanding natural beauty, are a central attraction here, and with the pub serving food literally a stone’s throw away from the cottage. Just 1.5 miles away are the beautiful Himalayan Gardens and sculpture garden now open from April to November, take a walk around enjoying all of the beautiful flowers from some of the most exotic places on earth, this is certainly a must see. The Crown pub nearby has recently won the popular 4 In A Bed series on Channel 4 The historic city of Ripon is a mere 6 miles away, and includes an imposing cathedral, a bustling weekly market, an international music festival and Ripon Races. The historic houses of Norton Conyers and Newby Hall & Gardens are close by and the popular Lightwater Valley Theme Park with its Factory Shopping Village provides a great day out. An ideal location for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, not forgetting Harrogate, Knaresborough and York. Visit the national Trust site Brimham Rocks and see the famous balancing rock formation's or go on one of the many walks around this amazing place set in over 400 acres of moorland.
