The cottage sleeps four people and has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower-room. On the ground floor is a smart kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with wood burner effect electric fire and a piano. Outside, the garden on two levels surrounds the house and has two patio areas with tables/chairs a barbecue a fire pit, and a terraced lawn. There is also parking for one car. The Old School House is a wonderful home in a superb rural location.

Lustleigh is a picture postcard village set on the deep wooded slopes of eastern Dartmoor and within Dartmoor National Park. With a pretty church, village shop and excellent pub along with lots of thatch cottages you can see why Lustleigh made it to the Telegraph's top villages.

Having stayed at the schoolhouse for many years we are always finding interest , beauty , and friendliness .The schoolhouse position with its garden overlooking the village is ideal to allow time to sit and stare .The house is comfortable and with so many walks starting from the front door.Having visited and stayed in the village for over 40yrs. we always look forward to returning .
