This homely and comfortable terraced house in the tiny hamlet of Treknow is the perfect base for a seaside holiday. Three bedrooms include a king size double with great views (occasional sea glimpses), a twin and family bathroom on the first floor and another twin bedroom with those great views up on the second floor. Drink in those great views from the cosy sitting room with open fire before gathering for supper in the big fitted kitchen and dining area with original Delabole slate floor. A rear porch leads to the ground floor WC and basin and door up to the long enclosed garden. A friendly, all-year-round family home, well placed for beach, walking and exploring north Cornwall.
Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthurs Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery.

Reviews
We booked this house specifically because it stated it had two bathrooms. It does not. It has one bathroom and a seperate wc situated at the very back of the house in what appears to be in a makeshift lean to area with no heating.( with a seethrough perspex roof.) We feel very much misled with this description which still persists. On our return home we contacted Sykes cottages to explain they are mis representing this house as it has only one bathroom. We asked them to amend their details and they refused , see above it still states two bathrooms. In our definition a bathroom must include either a bath or shower , the wc has neither. Sykes cottages are wrong but will not alter the description. Appalling. Customers who book this have a right to know one bathroom only. !
