The living room has a wood-burning stove, there is a dining room with lake views and a light-filled kitchen/breakfast room with glass doors to the patio. Ground floor toilet and first floor family bathroom. At the side, overlooking the lake and enclosed by a wall, a pretty garden with patio, garden furniture a chiminea and BBQ - ideal for late afternoon sun. A lovely cottage for couples or families with Whitsand Bay?s fantastic sandy beach is a mile away. Or perhaps walking appeals to you more through nearby Mount Edgcumbe?s 800 acres.

Step through the porch into a slate-tiled hall and on into the living room complete with wood-burning stove. Meals in the dining room will be enhanced with those lakeside views; on into the light-filled kitchen/breakfast room with glass doors to the patio. At this level there is a utility room and toilet. Head up the stairs to the first floor and four bedrooms – two king-size doubles one with an en suite bathroom, a nautical-themed bunk room, and a twin - all with lovely lake views - and a family bathroom. Absolutely superb accommodation stylish, cosy, clean and loads of room for our extended family and two labs. The garden is lovely and secluded with views over the lakeside and the cottage is ideally situated for many trips out into the local area. The kitchen is particularly well equipped (the best I’ve ever come across) with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
