Boasting three bedrooms; a double, a twin and a pull-out trundle bed, this single-storey lodge can sleep six people altogether. There is also a shower room inside along with an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside is a private garden with a lawned area and decking with outdoor furniture. You will also find off-road parking. There is a modern, cosy feel throughout, with soft furnishings, bright open spaces and contemporary fixtures getting you through a restful break. The open-plan living room makes the most of the open countryside views, boasting dual-aspect and doubled-glazed patio doors out to the decking area where you can take advantage of the barbecue, cooking something for your party while enjoying the incredible views. A BBQ hut is provided for all-year-round which provides a BBQ solution to use in any weather and provides comfortable seating and heating on winter evenings. Relax on the sofa with a good book as you absorb the peaceful atmosphere or tune into the TV and see if anything takes your fancy. Gather with your loved ones for a hot brew and later in the evening enjoy a competitive board game at the dining table after dinner. You can rustle up a hearty English breakfast for everyone in the well-appointed kitchen before heading out to see the local sights. On return from your adventures, you have a choice of bedrooms to catch your rest in including a double, twin and child's bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed. Each is furnished to a high-quality standard, with bedside tables, matching lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers, for a comfortable break away. They are also served by the modern bathroom, where you can take advantage of a refreshing shower each morning. On a warm summer's day, sit out on the decking and soak up the views with a thirst-quenching beverage in hand. The kids can play on the lawn with the dog and enjoy some fun in the Wendy house, while you watch on pleasantly nearby. The owner's have a successful riding stables and livery next door, where you can enquire about lessons and joining a hack through the local area. This is a great base for enjoying the Jurassic Coast, and seaside resorts of West Bay and Lyme Regis, where you can stroll along the shore and take in the sea-salt air. Some tourist attractions include Montacute House, an Elizabethan mansion with Renaissance features, Tintinhull Garden, Glanstonbury Abbey and Longleat Safari Park. Note: The owner's horse riding school is next door, therefore dog to be kept under control when in the garden. Lucky to have booked for April 21. 1st after covid restrictions eased. Excellent, relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming. Early morning walks to see the horses at the riding stables next door and daughter took opportunity for riding lessons and group hacks. Well located within easy distance to Dorset coast and rock pooling at Lyme Regis. Lazy evenings watching nature or using the well equipped BBQ hut. Great comms with Georgie who made sure any small issues were quickly fixed. Will be back in August, highly recommended.
