Internally, the owners have created a smart and warming retreat for couples seeking a rural escape to Wales. Stepping inside, be welcomed into an open-plan living space with a sofa to curl up and unwind into the evening whilst catching up with your favourite shows. The kitchen has been fitted to a high-standard with delightful cream units and sleek wooden worktops providing all the necessary appliances needed to cook up some delicious meals. Gather at the small breakfast bar to enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst planning the day's events. Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the king-size bedroom which benefits from its own balcony where you can take a cup of tea of a morning and delight in those stunning rural views, whilst the en-suite shower room provides deluxe fixtures and fittings for you to enjoy. Take a refreshing beverage out to the enclosed garden area where you can dine alfresco, or take a dip in the hot tub and let those bubbling jets work their magic on your tired muscles. There's also an enclosed dog exercise area, where your pets can run safely and freely. The property is located right on the edge of the Llanllwni mountains, where keen walkers, cyclists and horse riders can enjoy the open countryside. You are close to many rivers and lakes for all manner of watersporting activities, particularly fishing and kayaking. Further north is the Cambrian mountains, rich with wildlife and some of the most magnificent views imaginable. Also nearby are towns such as Lampeter for accessing some other traditional eateries and independent shops. Make sure you visit the underground adventure of Dolaucothi gold mines, owned by the National Trust. The property also benefits from being a scenic car journey away from the west coast of Wales and its picturesque beaches for those quieter afternoons, as well as the ancient market town of Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge for all manner of tourist attractions available. Field View is the perfect choice for a rural break to Wales with your loved one.

The hosts Mike and Zorah were very good hosts to us when we arrived the cottage was very clean and well equipped hot tub was lovely after the long walks very satisfied
The hosts were brilliant and accommodating as we arrived earlier in the day than expected. They kept to social distancing protocols whilst telling us and showing us all the required information. The cottage was so clean it was hard to believe someone stayed there before us, it’s also beautifully decorated. The cottage is perfect for a quiet romantic get away, and only a 40 minute drive from the stunning New Quay beach and a short drive away from a Sainsburys and a Co-Op The cottage has everything needed if you just want to cook during the stay, if you do fancy a take away the China Wok is close and one of the nicest Chinese’s I’ve had in a long time. On rainy days the smart TV with DVD player is a blessing, and for clear evenings the Hot Tub is an amazing addition, my partner loved it. This has been a perfect last break for us before we experience the pitter patter of little feet next year, and I know this will be baby’s first holiday!
Had an amazing pre-Christmas there with my girlfriend, the place is super clean and even comes with board games Zohra and her husband were amazing hosts, very reliable and friendly. Would definitely go back there and do it all over again with some G&Ts in the hot tub!
We enjoyed our stay at Field view last week. We had everything we needed, the cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable and well presented. It’s also (one) dog friendly, which is always a bonus. The cottage has its own hot tub which is great. It’s also in a really quiet location which suits us. There’s a pub and a corner shop about a mile down the road- walking distance. 10-15 minutes away there’s a town called Lampeter with a Sainsbury’s and a few other shops, Shapla Tandoori etc. In Carmarthen 35 mins away there’s a lovely Italian restaurant called Florentino’s which is fantastic. We enjoyed having a few peaceful days here, would return in future.
