Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle with its World Hawk and Owl Centre; the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, the famous Hardknot Pass with its Roman Fort, and the Georgian town of Whitehaven with its picturesque harbour.

Couldn’t recommend more! The cottage has been furnished to an extremely high standard, everything and more you could need. The hot tub was out of this world and the best way to relax after busy days sightseeing. The local pub which is 5 minutes walk serves excellent home cooked food with the best chips ever! Owners were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
