Surpassed expectations. Beautifully clean, warm and cosy. A lovely welcome pack including very thoughtful touches plus milk! Secure enough for our rambunctious staffy dog - once he got used to perimeter that is. It was a real novelty for him as we usually camp and he is always on lead so he coped well. The lodge is so well equipped. All amenities including pegs, rotary line, washer and dryer. The towelling robes were a lovely treat and needed after hot tub dips on an October evening hot tub was clean and checked every day, chemicals topped up and tests done etc. Terry is very quick and non intrusive during the checks but also full of good advice when asked! Our twins especially loved the short time he took with them and came back full of all the stories for me so am extra thank you for this. We were really blessed with the weather, had come prepared with dungeons and dragons game in case it was bad!, but wasn't needed. The lodge is very well situated for access to things like the wool museum (kids loved the interactive elements of carding the wool, weaving, wearing a baby Welsh style!), Teifi steam railway (big train, little pixie halt train, play areas, crazy golf etc), the castle ruins at Newcastle Emlyn with all the dragons lore and amazing walks by the river. Back in the lodge the kitchen was well equipped (sharp knives, thank you), beds are comfy (the super king size was special!) and very warm. The children's room was a boon with a games drawer my two quickly discovered and used! The guide for using the Lodge and information about the was comprehensive and answered all the questions including those you didn't know you had no complaints, many thanks to Louise and Terry again.

Spent a really enjoyable and memorable week in Brook Lodge. We found the lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub was great to relax in at the end of a long day. The garden is secure so we had no worries letting our dog Wilson out knowing he would be safe and not wonder too far. About 5 minutes walk away is a very nice restaurant (the Daffodil) the staff are friendly and make you and your dog feel very welcome. The food served there is very nice and freshly prepared. Terry and Louise the owners of Brook lodge were friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. This is one place we need to come back to for a relaxing getaway.

Stopped here for first week of our two weeks holiday, myself, the missus and teenage daughter plus dogs. Bowled over when we arrived. Secure for the dogs who could run around free, everything you need in the lodge, comfortable, warm enough, although we did hit a warm weather patch whilst staying. BBQ well used in the mornings for breakfast and dinner in the evenings, Terry sells their own farm burgers and sausages if you enquire too! Hot tub covered so if needed could still comfortably use if raining. Great location for local attractions and exploring on days out. Could recommend a visit here highly enough and will be looking at coming back! If I was ultra critical the only bugbear for me was the shower wasn’t very powerful (I love a powerful shower) but this didn’t spoil our stay . All of us loved this stay and many thanks to our hosts.

My wife, baby daughter, dog and I have just had the most wonderful stay at Brooke Lodge. Wern Newydd Farm is absolutely idyllic and the perfect place for a getaway. Despite the rain, the lodge was lovely and warm, perfect for a cozy night in. The owners Terry and Louise were the kindest hosts, nothing was too much trouble and made sure our little girl had everything she needed. But they even thought of the dog as well providing her with a bowl, blankets and even treats! In fact, the garden around the lodge is well enclosed and well kept, and the dog absolutely loved running round it. The lodge itself is very well equipped with a luxurious super king bed and a well stocked kitchen. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate and do it, you won’t regret it! We’ll be back next year and cannot wait to return. 5 stars from us!
