Our second time staying there, and certainly won’t be our last! Our happy place, A fantastic lodge, well equipped, and stunning surroundings, with a very well maintained hot tub, couldn’t ask for more. Until next time! X

Had a fabulous week's stay here. Everything was there that you needed and made it a home from home which made it a relaxing stay. The hot tub was a big bonus and was great at the end of the day to unwind. Christie is a fabulous host and has taken alot of care to ensure everything is in the lodge that you need. Log burner was great with the weather in January and we were never cold. We will be back as soon as we can. Thank you.

The lodge is amazing, separated from the main house and not overlooked the setting is relaxing and so peaceful with only the birds and occasional baa from a sheep. It is central for exploring the surrounding area including Lincoln, Boston and Grantham and the small towns such as Woodhall spa. The kinema in the woods is well worth a visit, as is the bubble car museum! We hired bikes from Woodhall Spa and spent a leisurely day exploring the banks of the river witham with plenty to see, then back to the lodge to rest our weary legs in the hot tub, just perfect! The lodge has everything you could possibly want and more, with the added extras of fresh flowers and plum cake with cheese. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful lodge in the small village of Howell , very accessible to the top sights in Lincolnshire. Fantastic base after a hard day on your feet sightseeing, you can unwind in this peaceful location complete with hot tub jacuzzi and log burner which once lit will heat the whole lodge . Christie is a lovely host although not intrusive she is available and helpful when needed . The accommodation has everything you can think of and is truly 5 star. Don’t hesitate to book you won’t be disappointed. There are country pubs 15-20 mins drive that offer fantastic menus and the tidy town of sleaford is a 10 minute drive. The added touches of Netflix and plum bread, milk and cheese. Many thanks Christie for the pleasant stay.

Would highly recommend this lodge, so clean, beds comfy, set out really well. Great location, couple of walks to local villages which was lovely. Log fire, Netflix, washing machine, dishwasher and hot tub. What more do you want. Christie on hand to answer any questions if you should need. I will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Fantastic holiday lodge. Our family of 4 stayed at Tythe Lodge for a week in August 2021. The lodge is very spacious, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The location is lovey, very quiet and peaceful, and the private hot tub is a dream - during the day and at night! The hosts really have thought of everything and made sure the lodge is very comfortable with everything you could need - including a washing machine, robes, gas BBQ, TV with Netflix and very comfy beds. The grassed area with play equipment next to the lodge is not part of the holiday let but our hosts were kind enough to let our 2 children play on the equipment which they loved. We used the lodge as a base to explore the local area and it was the perfect place to come back to and relax after some sightseeing. We we lucky with the weather and made use of the BBQ but also enjoyed being cosy inside with the log burner on during rainy spells. We would recommend Tythe Lodge to families looking for a very comfortable, clean lodge in Lincolnshire with exceptional yet unobtrusive hosts.

Wonderful place to stay! The lodge was perfect for the 3 of us, very comfy, plenty of storage space, great well equipped kitchen and utility area, lovely cosy lounge and air conditioning if needed. The hot tub is fantastic and very pretty at night when the fairy lights come on. We stayed for 7 nights and had a brilliant time, its in a good location to travel about Lincoln and there are local shops should you need them. Christie is a great host, very friendly and helpful and Charlie's just great, fantastic game of cricket! We were very sad to leave as its been such a great week away and although we live just over 2 hours away we wont let that put us off and hope to be back again next year. Thank you Christie and Charlie (and Ted!) Gem, Ben & Ridley

I've stayed in a lot of holiday lets throughout the UK and this one is the best. It's clean, well equipped and has excellent facilities such as an en-suite shower room, log burner and hot tub. It's really comfortable inside with quality bedding and comfortable mattresses. There is plenty of space inside. We stayed for a week with our 3 year old and we found it to be a real home from home. It is clear that the owners love this place and that shows in how clean and well presented the lodge is. The owners were friendly and helpful yet gave you plenty of privacy. I cannot fault this holiday accommodation at all. We can't wait to go back. There is plenty to do in the local area, I'd recommend Tattershall Farm Park and a trip to Skegness for family friendly activities and a trip to Newark or Lincoln for culture, great restaurants and shopping.

What an amazing lodge! Holidayed here as a family of three for a week over the May Bank Holiday with my parents. The lodge was spacious and airey. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The welcome gifts of plum bread, local cheese & flowers were such a lovely touch too. There are plenty of places to visit nearby including Lincoln & Skegness but we did spend time around the local area visiting the windmill & brewery at Heckington, Sleaford & Ewerby. Thanks again Chris, Christie & of course Charlie who made our daughters holiday by introducing her to his sheep & taking her to see the 100 year old swing. We'll certainly be back! Don't hesitate to book you won't be disappointed

We stayed here for a week with our toddler at the beginning of May. Although the weather wasn’t great, we had a lovely time and it was a good base for visiting the area - highlights included Belton House, Skegness and Tattershall Farm. The lodge was clean, tidy and private with a nice outdoor area and hot tub. The hosts were friendly without being intrusive and we enjoyed being in the countryside. There were plenty of takeaway options in the local village and town if you didn’t fancy cooking, and also a slow cooker which we made use of too!

I booked this lodge for a getaway and it just looked lovely from the photos and very! Reasonably priced... the lodge itself is beautiful! With the current pandemic they've done so much so they're fully covid compliant also. This definitely won't be the last time I'll be staying here!

What an incredible lodge! We were so excited to make it to Tythe Lodge (after other COVID cancelled breaks) and the arrival was simply stunning! The lodge was absolutely spotless, the log fire was ready for us and was crackling away in the cosy lounge, in the kitchen there was an incredible homemade chocolate cake and other essentials. The lodge had everything you could ever need, the kitchen is more equipped than a normal house, it has all the utensils you will need for a short break, it has all your usual appliances and even a slow cooker, washing machine and iron. You have 2 lovely bedrooms, the beds are so comfortable, there is plenty of storage in both rooms. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite and then there is also a family bathroom, we had plenty of space and unlike some lodges we have stayed at, plenty of hot water. The lounge has two comfy sofas and a lovely log burner, which my children loved to sit and watch and gave a lovely feel to the lodge. There is plenty of things to keep you busy too, there are plenty of dvds to choose from, a chest with a range of board games and not to mention the hot tub! We didn't get round to exploring the area much, we did take a walk around the local village and followed some footpaths, the area is really beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. We did spend our last day in Lincoln which was also beautiful, it was just 45 minutes away from the lodge, we spent the day exploring the castle, the cathedral, and some of the quaint and some quirky little shops. We have stayed in many hot tub lodges in the UK and I think what makes this one really special is Christie, Chris and Charlie. You can feel the love they have put into the lodge, the little details, the pride and the attentiveness made us feel privileged to stay in your beautiful holiday home. We will be recommending you to friends, family, anyone else who will listen and will be back in the future!

We visited as a family of 4 and this lodge had everything we needed and more. The quality and spec of this place is amazing and from the minute you walk in you can tell a lot of thought and hard work to get it right has gone into it. Lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, log burner and smart TV, there is even a toy box with board games to use. Kitchen is finished to a very high standard and has all mod cons plus additional touches like a full breakfast tea set, and indoor and outdoor glasses perfect for the hot tub or outside dining area. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and cosy with low lighting, good quality bedding and plenty of storage space. There are even robes provided for you. There are additional heaters which also double up as air conditioning units. To the side is a boot room/utility with a washing machine and any cleaning equipment you may require and we used this entrance to go in and out to the hot tub. Outside is a lovely patio area with seating and of course the hot tub. There is also a small field with football goals, swings and a trampoline should the younger ones want to play. The owners are across the drive in their own renovated barn and are on hand to assist you but also respect your privacy - the perfect balance, they are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hamlet is housing only but the nearest village is only a 5 minute drive away and then bigger towns are well within reach such as Lincoln, Stamford, Sleaford and Grantham. All in all this is a perfect little hideaway for those who are looking to get out of the rat race for a few days and just kick back and do very little. We will definately return.
