What a lucky find! Lovely, clean cottage with everything that you need. Set in beautiful countryside. Hot tub for chilling (and star gazing). Right next to a working sheep farm, which the kids loved. The owners Sarah and Pete were only too happy to show us around and let the kids feed the lambs. Lovely people, fantastic hospitality! Some nearby pubs with good food and drink. All in all, perfect for a long weekend of R+R and family time. Thankyou

This place is a proper gem!!!! Every little detail has been thought about to the highest standard. We love our weekends away and this is up there with the best we’ve been too and without a doubt we will be back. Sarah, Pete and of course Owen are the most amazing hosts and people who have genuinely turned this into something special…thank you all so so much and it goes without say we will definitely be returning! Xx

This was our second visit to the cottage after staying last year. Last time we visited, we knew after staying there that it wouldn't be the only time! The cottage is beautiful and impressively presented. The plot in which it stands is lovely; so peaceful and relaxing. The option of the hot tub this year was a lovely addition! We were lucky to have such beautiful weather too so it was perfect (although the one evening it did rain, the hot tub was still in use!). Sarah and Pete are the most wonderful hosts; nothing is ever too much for them and they go out of their way to make sure you're as happy and comfortable as possible. One of the most beautiful breaks we've had - we'll definitely be returning in the future.

We have had a beautiful few days spent in the Old Cart House. The cottage is utterly stunning, both inside and out. Driving up to it was amazing; seeing the beautiful spot in which it stands. We have been very lucky to have had gorgeous weather too so we have had the benefit of both the beautiful and peaceful outdoors, as well as the cosy, lovely inside. Everything about our stay has been exceptional and it has been a beautiful setting to spend some time as a family. There is lots of helpful information in the cottage of local facilities (we took full advantage of some such as the wifi and local take away details) The cottage is spotless and it is clear that a lot of loving attention is given to every detail. The photo album of the progress is also a lovely touch. I loved looking through and seeing the transformation. Sarah and Pete have done an incredible job and are amazing hosts - so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. We can't wait to come back again next year, our booking is already made!!!

I stayed here with my daughter and Mum for a short two night break. We cannot personally thank Sarah and Pete enough for their absolute kindness they showed to my daughter and gave her such a wonderful experience helping on their farm. She was absolutely delighted and the hosts went over and above to make our stay so special. The cottage itself is a dream home! Perfect in every way, utterly spotless and really luxurious. The hosts had thought of everything you could possibly need and all the extra touches including the welcome goodies were an added bonus. We will be back again hopefully during lambing season and look forward to seeing your lovely dog Rex again who my daughter fell in love with! Thanks so much for everything.

Wow. What a beautiful place in an amazing setting. The owners were both so welcoming, funny and friendly. I was even given the once in a life time opportunity to bottle feed a lamb. Best long weekend ever!

This cottage has been designed really well and the accommodation is of an excellent quality. Everything has been thought of nicely. Owners Sarah and Pete, have taken every effort to make this the perfect holiday location. I needed to get away from all the stress and this place provided the exact thing that I needed. Peace and quiet. Yet you are only a short drive away from shops and pub if needed. The accommodation is very comfortable and the WiFi was amazing even better than the WiFi at home and also they provided Netflix which was an amazing bonus for the rainy days that you want to stay indoor. They provided a tv in every room so no matter where you are in the cottage, you can continue with your program if you wanted. There were really nice walks on the doorstep. I was lucky enough to spend some time with the sheep and lamb and help with bottle feeding the lamb. That was an amazing experience that I did not even think I would have the pleasure of experiencing prior to my holiday. You have to try this cottage to find out for yourself but this is by far the best cottage that I have stayed in. Thank you for making this week a really nice and relaxing time for me.
