Location Details

Lynton is a small town on the Exmoor coast in Devon, England. It stands on top of the cliffs above the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth. In Lynton is the Parish Church of St Mary, which stands overlooking the sea, surrounded by shops and hotels. The tower is mainly 13th century but the church itself has been enlarged and altered, most notably in 1741, when the nave was rebuilt, and later in Victorian times. Evidence of Iron Age activity can be found at the nearby Roborough Castle.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Reviews

Lovely lodge. Newly decorated, clean and comfy. Everything you need . Quiet well kept site. Good walks for dogs. Need to drive anywhere up and down steep hills apart from tai restaurant next door. Wonderful food but pricey. . (Sadly left something behind that was not handed in. Very disappointing. Either housekeeper or next guests kept it.)
