Climb the steps to the third floor and find a stunning and spacious kitchen/diner with breath-taking sea views. Doors lead out from here, to a delightful balcony where you can take a cup of tea in the morning and watch the sunrise over the sea and historic Tynemouth Priory. We stayed in the top floor apartment with our 4 teenagers - beach right on the doorstep and amazing views over to the Priory and Castle from the balcony. The place is lovely and located on a wonderful street with lots of independent bars and restaurants. Steve is a wonderful host and we really appreciated his attention to detail - nothing was too much trouble and he is so friendly and welcoming. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need for a super stay - especially if you are self catering - although you should try the local restaurants - recommend Buddah Lounge and Longsands Fish Kitchen (they do amazing gluten free fish & chips). If you are going to stay in Tynemouth, then stay here - we certainly hope to return soon.
