Reviews

Abbotsbury is a great place to be based, Chesil beach is a mile walk away, the swannery and sub-tropical gardens are also less than a mile's walk on the outskirts of the village, there are 2 pubs, both offering good food, at least 3 tearooms, a Farm shop, Spar with post office and several lovely galleries to wander around. If you like walking there are lots and lots of walks that can be done from here in beautiful Hardy countryside and we happily stayed here 4 days without using our car. The cottage itself is really lovely, staying here is a bit like being in a boutique hotel! It has been lovingly refurbished and equipped with everything you need, the bedrooms are large and the double room in the attic has an ensuite with gorgeous freestanding bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again.
