Reviews

This cottage ticked all the boxes for our stay. We stayed for a week with our XL Bully dog! The cottage is on a working farm, with sheep, chickens and pigs and not forgetting the numerous Pheasants. From the minute we arrived on the yard, we knew we had chosen the best cottage. We were met by the host Geoff, who lives next door. he was friendly and was lovely to chat to. The cottage had everything you needed/wanted. The bedroom was light and airy and the bed was comfy. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and as for the welcome pack - WOW this was one of the nicest and well stocked packs we have ever had. The garden was big enough for what we needed and the bbq was great as we were in a heat wave. We were given access to the field out the back too, which was great to take our dog walking in the morning and evening. The lounge had a pull out sofa bed which was great as we had some friends stay and they said it was comfy. There's a decent TV with dvd player and a stereo. Be aware the road is narrow up a country lane but there are passing places to pull into for on coming cars. There is a great pub locally - would drive or get a taxi, I have done a review (cross foxes) We would love to stay here again as there is so much to do and see in North Wales

A beautiful little cottage set in a gorgeous location. If you want to get away from everything then this is the place for you. Geoff and Sue made our stay so special. Letting my daughter feed the pigs, lambs and chickens, it was great. Not far from Rhyl and Chester so perfectly central. Cottage was perfect with a lovely garden & a really nice welcome kit from Geoff and Sue. Wifi was excellent and the bed is super comfortable. We have already booked for next year so if you want to relax then I would stay here.

The cottage truely felt like a home from home. It was in a beautiful setting and very well cared for. It was a special holiday for us being a first family holiday and my partners 30th birthday. I feel we were lucky to make so many great memories in such a wonderful place.

Ideal location, perfect for door-to-door walks, lovely views. The property is on small holding, and so it was lovely to see the gorgeous pigs/hens/turkeys. The size of the property was excellent, and well appointed, including washer/dryer which is most helpful in the winter months and being avid walkers. The owners are really nice people too, very relaxed and friendly.

It was great to be able to go away with the dogs. There were all the amenities we could think of and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. They had brew stuff ready for our arrival, dogs chews and even a mini Xmas tree. You could go walking straight out of the front door.

The welcome was great and accommodation really comfortable. The location was perfect and the morning sunrise a real treat. Perfect base for either being lazy in front of the log fire or being energetic and walking though the Welsh countryside. This is the best small cottage accommodation we have ever stayed in.
