River Cottage is a delightful three bedroom thatched cottage located in the beautiful coastal village of Burton Bradstock. Pets are welcome here and with an enclosed rear garden they will be sure to be safe. River Cottage has off road parking for two cars. The property is filled with character, the sitting room is ideal to spend a winter evening cosying up with a book and a chilled glass of wine. The cottage garden has a magical feel, enjoy alfresco meals here from morning to night. With peaceful setting you may even want to just sit and spend time here with your pets. Hive Beach where you can taste local produce at the Hive Beach café overlooking the pebbled beach is only a leisurely stroll away. Within the village there is a local shop for all your essential needs and two traditional pubs renowned for serving good home cooked food. The pretty harbour at West Bay is only a few miles away where you can enjoy good old-fashioned seaside fare of fish and chips sitting by the harbour. The market town of Bridport is also close by which has good shopping and a weekly antiques market making this a good day out. Although situated on the main road through the village, the access and exit to and from River Cottage is through the back door of the property. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to the county town of Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.
