I stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend, the house is gorgeous! Very clean, comfortable beds and amazing views over the river. Short walk down to the ferry to get to Dartmouth. Lovely location. Heated floors in kitchen complex and bathroom were a particular highlight. I cannot wait to stay again.

Moorings is absolutely stunning! Fabulous views across the marina to Dartmouth both from inside and from its spacious balconies and terraced sitting areas. The decoration is extremely tasteful, is in keeping with the natural surroundings and is quite beautiful. The house is furnished to an exceptionally high standard - the owners really have thought of everything you might need! We loved taking the ferry to Dartmouth and had a great boat trip to Greenway. The local pub has a lovely cosy atmosphere and serves very good food. Very highly recommended!

I was very impressed by this house - the amazing view from the terrace, the layout and interior decor. Recently renovated, it's spacious, light and airy, a very relaxing space. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of bathrooms with good showers and a cosy lounge. Dartmouth is a short ferry ride away, the Steam Packet where they serve excellent food is your local and there are lots of nice walks and places to visit. The stunning location does mean that walkers have to be prepared to tackle a steep hill but the climb does get easier as your stay progresses!

We enjoyed our holiday stay at Moorings, which is a beautiful property with stunning views from the balconies. The property is well appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and is spacious for both preparation of meals and socialising. However, there are a few pieces of information which would have proved useful. The property is at the top of Kingswear, which affords it the stunning views; however to reach the property from the ferry on foot involves a very steep climb which may not be manageable for all. The master bedroom, in the eaves, has a sloping ceiling giving little height around the bed, the taller individual will not be able to stand upright in the bed area. Similarly, the shower in the en suite has a sloping ceiling and is not suitable for those over 5' 7". The master bedroom also suffers from road noise due to a large obscured window to the road. It is not possible to darken the room at night due to the window blind design.

I have recently had the absolute pleasure of a long stay at the wonderful property that is the Moorings. The property is spacious, clean, is furnished with everything you could wish for and is of a very high standard. I'd give it a 5 star rating. The views and setting are amazing, possibly some of the best in the UK at the least! It is situated close to all the amenities that Kingswear has to offer and is a ferry boat ride across the river from Dartmouth. On top of all the above; I am a frontline emergency services worker, the owners enabled personnel to stay at Moorings, shielding from family during the height of the lockdown! They are very friendly and personable and I cannot thank them enough for their unbelievable offer and hospitality. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Moorings, my stay was quite simply fantastic.

We had a winter weekend at this great newly renovated house situated high on the kingswear side of Dartmouth. The views were stunning ,the weather less so but that's December for you. Still this made visits to the steamboat pub all the better near to the ferry across to Dartmouth which proved an easy way to get to the restaurants in Dartmouth on foot. The house itself was very nicely furnished , parking was easy , and we had a great time. I hope to return again when the sun is shining, hope you enjoy your stay there too
