To the south of the property, within a thirty minute drive, is the city of Plymouth which makes a fantastic place for a day trip, with its historic Hoe, marine aquarium, and art deco seawater pool. For those wanting to visit the seaside, a pretty sheltered sandy bay can be found at Bovisand, twenty miles from the property.
