Wroxham is only a 10 minute drive, with shops, restaurants, pubs, enjoy hiring a boat for the day, exploring the picturesque waterways, the wildlife at the nature reserves or stopping for lunch at one of the many riverside pubs. The cathedral city of Norwich is just 7 miles away where you can find theatres, museums, shopping meals, restaurants, a castle or see the sights on the open top bus. Just 3 miles away is the broadland village of Coltishall known as 'the gateway to the broads.' The traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham can be reached within half an hour. There are fine sandy beaches at Winterton on Sea and Sea Palling, great for spotting the seal pups.
