The National Trust s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a day out. Alternatively, take the short drive to the New Forest, ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Stepping inside, the ground floor has a cosy, characterful lounge with a TV, DVD iPod dock and wood burner which is perfect for those chillier evenings after a day out.
