Lounge with wood burner and TV. Electric, central heating and Wi Fi included. Dining room with seating for 14 16 people. Kitchen/diner with electric AGA and induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and open fire. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and 2 fridge/freezers. Outside and to the rear a covered patio area with seating, to the side an additional seating area with table and chairs. Further gardens across from the farmhouse. Ample parking. Pub and shop 2 miles. There are also 2 attached areas one of which sleeps up to 3, and 1 of which sleeps 2, available for larger parties, please enquire for rates. There are quiet lanes along which to cycle. The small hamlet of Walton is situated just one mile from the famous Offa's Dyke Pathway. The neighbouring village of Old Radnor offers a 15th century Welsh longhouse pub. Whilst just 3 miles away is the pleasant town of Kington, renowned as a centre for walking and is surrounded by the pretty rolling hills of The Marches, which offers a choice of good shops, pubs and restaurants. Explore the Mortimer Trail and the lovely walks to Hergest Ridge, the inspiration for the beautiful music of both Elgar and Mike Oldfield. Discover Presteigne, which nestles at the heart of The Marches and has the award winning Judges Lodgings. Also nearby Hay on Wye with its festival and books.
