Just outside the city, a ten minute drive away, visitors will find Wookey Hole Caves, a complex of attractions not only including the caves themselves, but also a number of museums, a 4D cinema, a range of play facilities, and a Victorian penny arcade. A little further afield, a visit to the impressive Glastonbury Abbey is not to be missed, and keen shoppers will enjoy a day visiting the discount shopping village in Street, just eight miles away.
