Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the many footpaths that cris cross the High Weald AONB and for those looking to explore slightly further afield, the towns of Hastings and Rye are both a five mile drive and have much to offer visitors, from the host of quirky independent shops in Rye to the beachfront and fresh fish stalls in Hastings. As soon as you arrive at this picket fenced cottage you will feel as if you have arrived in the heart of the countryside. As you enter this cosy cottage the lounge can be found to the right of the front door. This room is comfortably furnished with two sofas collected around the inglenook fireplace with open fire, as well as the Smart TV, Netflix and DVD for quiet nights in. Continue to the kitchen, where the low beam ceiling means it has retained much of its original charm whilst offering everything the cook needs, including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The dining table is here too with comfortable seating for four. The backdoor opens out from the kitchen onto an enclosed courtyard. The main bathroom is located on the ground floor, with hand held shower over bath and WC. Narrow steep stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms: a double and a twin, that complete the cottage. Outside there is a typical cottage style courtyard garden, which has a picnic table for al fresco meals and a BBQ for guests use. The back gate gives access to the village and there is roadside parking across the road from the cottage on the village green..
