For thrill seekers, the Go Ape high ropes centre at Grizedale Forest is just over three miles away. Guests entering this property come directly to the lounge/diner, decorated in warming colours which give this room a lovely welcoming feel. Here guests will find a large dining table, and comfortable seating from which to enjoy the cosy wood burner, TV/DVD, and CD. Moving through to the kitchen, guests will discover a contemporary, well equipped space with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. A door from the kitchen opens out onto a small village square. Upstairs there are three pretty bedrooms, which are all decorated in an elegant understated style, giving them all a lovely restful atmosphere. The first of these rooms is on the first floor a king size double which has an elegant ensuite shower room. The bathroom is also located on the first floor and offers a shower over the bath and WC. Up a second flight of stairs you reach another two bedrooms a pretty twin and a single bedroom. Outside, there is seating area to the front of the cottage, looking out over the cobble stoned street, and a picnic bench to the rear of the cottage as well as a handy shed for bike storage, BBQ and sun umbrella. A parking permit is provided for 1 car for guests to use in the main village car park..
