Both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are within a twenty minute drive of the property, both offering visitors opportunities to take to the water. There are plentiful scenic walks in the area, as well as more challenging hikes and climbs. Two steps lead up to the front door of this property, which opens onto a hallway, off from which a door opens onto the lounge. This is a tastefully decorated room, with a bay window overlooking the neighbouring field, a cosy wood burner, Smart TV and DVD. To the rear of the property, the spacious dining room is a relaxing space in which to linger over family meals, with a dining table seating six, another wood burner, and shelving unit which is well stocked with games and books. French windows open onto the patio garden, allowing guests to open up this space during the warmer months. The kitchen, which enjoys views over the local countryside, is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, whilst a door leads on to the utility room where guests will find the washing machine, and /freezer, as well as a convenient WC. The utility room, like the dining room, gives access to the rear garden. Upstairs, there are three restful bedrooms: a double, a twin, and a single room, all of which are tastefully decorated with pine furniture and light, simple colour schemes. The bright and contemporary bathroom is also on the first floor and offers a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC. Outside, there is a patio garden with seating to the rear of the property, and a driveway for two cars just to the side of the cottage. Guests are able to use the garage for storing bikes, etc..
