Take the train to explore further afield where you can visit one of the World s oldest ticket offices in Wylam. The market town of Hexham and Roman Town of Corbridge are within a short drive. The village is on the north bank of the Tyne River with beautiful riverside walks and cycle routes. A great destination for those who enjoy cycling, walking and adventure. Further afield you can visit Hadrian s Wall and Alnwick Castle famous for the Harry Potter films. Enter through the wrought iron gate onto the traditional stone flagged front garden, into the entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor. The doorway off to your right takes you through to an inviting lounge with a gorgeous wood burner, comfy sofas and chairs to relax and enjoy a film or catch up on your favourite TV show on the Smart TV/DVD.
