Also within walking distance is the pretty village of Orleton, where visitors will find two welcoming pubs, ideal for a quick pint or perhaps a hearty pub lunch. The National Trust property of Croft Castle is just a few miles away, a stunning manor house surrounded by 1500 acres of grounds. For those who enjoy sampling the local food, the town of Ludlow is just a short drive away and offers a wide range of restaurants specialising in local food, as well as the annual food festival. On entering this Grade II listed property, guests will find themselves in the upper floor open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its attractive beamed ceilings, large corner sofa, and dining table. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything that guests will need including 2 oven's, hob, microwave, and dishwasher, whilst the washer/dryer can be found housed in a separate utility room. Both of these bedrooms have their own TV and DVD, as do the two further bedrooms which are located downstairs on the bottom floor. The first of the rooms on this floor is a super king which can be made up as a twin on request, and has an en suite shower room with WC, whilst the final room contains a super size bed (that can be made as a twin upon request) with an en suite bathroom offering a shower over bath and WC. There is also a convenient separate WC situated on the property s middle floor.
