Washing machine and a further freezer is located in the outhouse. Visit the lambing sheds in early spring by arrangement with the owner. Wood burner (starter pack of logs are provided free of charge, extra logs available on request at an additional cost) . Electricity and central heating included . Bed linen and towels included . Off road parking for 3 cars to the side of the cottage. Wi Fi included (the reception can be poor at times). Whilst there is mobile reception at Mindrum, due to rural location signal strength may vary. There is a landline available in the property. Restaurants and shops in neighbouring villages. Bicycle storage available . TV with Freeview in lounge. Golf courses located in Wooler and Kelso and there is also a Race course located 10 miles away by car in Kelso.

Take a short drive to the lovely market towns of Wooler and Kelso offering restaurants and local activities to include golf courses and a race course in Kelso. The Cheviot Hills offer outstanding walking, the vistas are breath taking and provide a delightful get away from it all activity. A great destination to enjoy cycling, gliding, golf, and walking. Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle are about a 45 minute drive away and Alnwick Castle famous for the Harry Potter films and its spectacular gardens are also close by. Edinburgh is about an hour and a half drive away from the property. Venture through the front door into the entrance hall, kick off those boots and hang up your coats, head off to your left and you will find a cosy lounge where you can relax in front of the lovely wood burner and plan where you are going to explore the following day. Enjoy a meal together at the dining table or simply take a seat and admire the view. Leading off the lounge is the kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The washing machine and a further freezer is located in the out house just yards from the front door. Venture back through to the hallway and you will find two beautifully furnished bedrooms one with a king size bed and one with twin beds, views onto the garden and grazing horses in the adjacent paddocks. Also, off the hallway is the bathroom with a shower over the bath, basin and WC. Heading outside from the sitting room and to the rear, you will find a pretty enclosed garden with a lawn, flower borders and a table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining with something delicious cooked on the charcoal BBQ. You may find a friendly pony or donkey wandering over to say hello. To the side of the cottage there is a gravelled area to park up to three cars, wood store and a bike storage area.
