Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset s iconic seaside town. Nearby are National Trust's Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House and further afield, Stourhead House and don t forget to visit the Quantock Hills, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. You are welcomed into the delightful character accommodation through the front door where there is a useful porch to store muddy boots after a countryside walk. You will then be greeted by the lounge which is bursting with original features including exposed beams, flagstone flooring and a fireplace which boasts a wood burner for those cooler evenings. Heading up the cottage style stairs to the first floor you will find two beautiful bedrooms both with original features including beams and a feature fireplace in the master bedroom. The spacious master king size bedroom enjoys countryside views and has a TV. The second bedroom is very flexible, a single with additional single bed, which can be made up as a single or twin on request, it enjoys views over the courtyard and surrounding fields. You will also find the bathroom on this floor with a shower over bath, sink and WC, it also has beautiful heritage fixtures and a feature fireplace. Venturing outside there is a pretty enclosed sheltered suntrap courtyard with seating and a charcoal BBQ making it a perfect spot to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining with a glass of wine, or a place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while reading the paper or planning the day ahead.
