The pretty medieval town of Rye, famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories is nearby. You may like to take a trip to nearby Hastings Old Town where there is a wealth of independent shops, cafes and restaurants coupled with seaside attractions to keep all the family entertained. Slightly further afield the area offers several castles, gardens and National Trust properties to visit including Bodiam Castle and Great Dixter House and Gardens. The front door opens into a small porch where you can leave your coats and shoes before continuing through to the lounge. The lounge is cosy and inviting with a sofa, two armchairs, a wood burner for cosy evenings in and a TV for you to watch your favourite programme. For evening meals there is a folding table and six chairs for family dining. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and a breakfast bar with four stools which provides a great place for morning coffee or a spot of lunch. There are two downstairs bedrooms that lead off the lounge: a double and a bunk bedroom. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a WC. A spiral staircase leads from the lounge up the stairs where there is a spacious twin bedroom, TV/DVD and views of the sea. Outside, a patio area is the perfect spot to enjoy a summer BBQ or morning coffee.
