Excellent for cyclists, walkers and wildlife lovers alike, with world class mountain biking at Afan Forest Park, the seaside at Aberavon Beach and Waterfall Country in the Vale of Neath.This property is also well placed for attractions, such as Margam Country Park with acres of countryside with a castle, deer park and visitors centre and Bryngarw Country Park with woodland, lakes and a pond. Kenfig Nature Reserve is just a 20 minute drive, which is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and offers various activities including bird watching and hiking which also leads to the beach and adjoins a super golf course. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Entering the large hallway, complete with air hockey table and picture window to courtyard garden, you immediately get the sense that this property is a little different and has been very imaginatively refurbished. Through to the impressive open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a great feeling of space and serenity, with a high ceiling providing a light and airy ambience. There are sliding doors leading outside from each bedroom with added black out blinds, to enjoy a good night rest. This is a simply fantastic venue for a family get together or a group of cyclists and walkers. Outside there is a delightful inner courtyard and a rear garden with garden furniture and a gas BBQ, both are enclosed. There is a very handy purpose built, lockable bike store for 12 bikes.
