Set in the heart of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coast and countryside, and for visiting some of the many local nature reserves including those at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Blakeney Point. There are many picturesque towns and villages nearby, including Fakenham, Holt, Burnham Market, Holkham and Burnham Thorpe, the birthplace of Nelson. You can also visit the Holkham Estate, Pensthorpe Natural Park, Houghton Hall and Sandringham. King s Lynn and Norwich are within easy driving distance.
