3.5 miles to the south, meanwhile, the historic market town of Knaresborough sits on the River Nidd, and offers pretty streets lined with shops and a choice of eateries. The town also happens to be home to Englands oldest tourist attraction: Mother Shiptons Cave. This quirky attraction is not only home to the cave itself, but also a fascinating petrifying well. Other places of interest locally include RHS Harlow Carr, Brimham Rocks, and the spa town of Harrogate. Upon entering this property, which was once the local village hall, guests come directly to the sleek and contemporary style kitchen.
