There is easy access to the western side of the island from here with its tranquil sandy coves, or perhaps visit the nearby Newtown National Nature Reserve an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful spot for enjoying breath taking views. The area is a haven for keen walkers and cyclists, with footpaths leading through stunning countryside as well as around the island.
