You can visit Hardy s home in Dorchester, Max Gate, or his birthplace in Higher Bockhampton (10 miles) On entering this light and spacious property, which is situated towards the end of a short lane, you will find the charming lounge/diner. This pretty and light filled triple aspect room is an ideal space to relax in, with plenty of seating, TV/DVD, an open fire and sea views. Patio doors lead down three steps and out onto the terrace. The large dining area is perfect for enjoying a family meal. The kitchen is equipped with a double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and breakfast table. Adjoining the kitchen there is a covered yard which is ideal for hanging up outdoor clothes and for those muddy boots. Stepping outside, the largely laid to lawn garden stretches for three quarters of an acre around the house. You can enjoy a peaceful drink or a BBQ in the delightful furnished raised terrace, and there s plenty of space for children to run about. The garden is bounded by trees and shrubs, with a gate leading out onto the coastal path and down to the beach. The beach can be accessed via a steep path though there is easier ramp access close by.
