This is a hive for independent businesses boasting chocolate shops and eateries and is famous for little festivals such as Steampunk and the 1960s weekend. The rugged Pennine Way passes nearby as does the Sustrans National Cycle Network, both extremely popular with cyclists and walkers alike. Top Withens and the Bronte waterfalls are also close by, as it the UNESCO World Heritage site, Saltaire, perfect walking for Clayton Beck. Shibden Hall and the Duke of Wellington Regiment military museum that has provided costumes for BBC drama Gentleman Jack are only a 10 minute drive away.
