If travelling by train the local train station is at Crewkerne. Retail therapy can be found in the market towns of Ilminster, Chard, Crewkerne and the larger towns of Yeovil and Taunton. For the shoppers among us, explore the local Clarks Village outlet shopping and the discounted shopping experience of Kilver Court. Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset s iconic seaside town. Nearby are National Trust's Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House and further afield, Stourhead House and don t forget to visit the Quantock Hills, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. Being in the heart of Somerset's cider country you will also find Perry's cider shop and museum.
