If you are a more adventurous walker and want to tick off some Wainwrights, head into the Lake District National Park which is a short drive away. There is fishing, horse riding and golf in the local area too so there are plenty of activities to fill your stay. Entering the property, you will instantly see the character and history of this building, there are exposed stone walls and beams. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a cosy wood burner, TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, an under counter fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy a romantic meal under the candelabra, after a day out exploring. There is a spacious double bedroom with the bathroom opposite, there is a shower over the bath and WC. The wildlife garden is the perfect place to sit out on a sunny day or late in the evening and watch the birds, rabbits and if you are lucky you might spot a red squirrel. There is ample private parking available to the side of the property..
