You may prefer to travel a little further to the Black Mountains region and walk the Waun Fach (13 miles), or set out on some thrilling outdoor adventures with the Llangorse Activity Centre (9.5 miles). For more peaceful excursions, head to the nearby market town of Brecon (2 miles), which is filled to the brim with history, charm and most importantly excellent places to eat and drink. Don t be afraid to return from your adventures with muddy boots and wet coats, heading straight into the handy utility room to make use of washing machine, tumble dryer and the sink.
