1 double bed. 1 shower room with WC and sink. Microwave, electric kettle, table top fridge, toaster. Electric oil filled radiator. There is no TV or Wi Fi at the shepherds hut. Enclosed garden area with furniture, gas BBQ. Storage shed. Parking available by the meadow gate. Regret no pets. Regret no washing machine. Complex of 2 properties. Can be booked with Bill's Shepherd Hut at the same location. Fly fishing instruction available by arrangement with Owner fee payable to Owner. Pub and shop 3.5 miles. Brecon 12 miles, Hay on Wye 12 mile, Crickhowell 15 miles, all with independent shops, pubs and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE wood burner is currently not in use .

Wander through the arboretum of specialist trees and plants which the owner has developed over the past 50 years, listening to the soothing birdsong. There are wonderful walks straight from the property, including along the scenic Rhos Fawr Common and to the summit of Rhos Fach. The attractive town of Talgarth (3.5 miles) has a choice of independent shops and galleries, restaurants and cafes serving local produce and pubs serving ales from the local brewery. Take a tour of the fully restored Talgarth Mill or walk along the river to beautiful Bronllys Castle (1 mile from Talgarth). Discover the dramatic waterfalls at picturesque Pwll y Wrach Nature Reserve and follow the woodland paths to find the hidden Witches Pool . Further afield, the literary town of Hay on Wye (12 miles) is well worth a visit with its famous bookstores and craft stalls within the castle grounds. Sat at the foothills of the beautiful Black Mountains, this idyllic shepherd s hut enjoys a peaceful position on the owner s smallholding. Step through the gate and into the fenced seating area surrounding the hut. Take the three steps that lead to the door and enter into the cosy open plan interior. Designed to make the most of the space, the interior is light and bright with neutral decor and wooden accents. The kitchen area has a microwave and electric kettle for making morning coffee to sip outside and listen to the birdsong. Take your meals at the cosy dining table set beneath the window. When it s time to snuggle up, clamber into the double bed that folds up to form the sofa in the daytime and drift off to sleep. There s a compact shower room within the hut. Outside the hut, settle in the cosy seating area to sit and enjoy your peaceful surroundings. There is a small wooden shed used as a drying room and for extra storage space.
