There is a lovely nature reserve in the village, as well as two good pubs serving meals. You can walk or drive to Craster fishing village for a seafood treat and visits to Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Seahouses Harbour, Alnwick Castle and Gardens are all a short drive. Access the cottage through the double doors leading into the conservatory where you can kick off your sandy shoes with a couple of easy chairs and a dining table where you can enjoy breakfast and a morning coffee overlooking the shared, lawned gardens while planning your days out and about. This room leads into the well equipped kitchen where you have an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine to make your stay easy and comfortable. Heading into the lounge/diner, there are comfortable leather sofas to relax on with an flame effect electric fire and TV/DVD to watch your favourite film or why not listen to some music on the CD player.
