Sightseers have plenty of choice with numerous National Trust properties within a short drive, including Stourhead House and Gardens. Longleat with its famous Safari Park is great fun, alternatively, for those who like a flutter or simply enjoy the spectacle, Wincanton Racecourse is close by. A little further afield is the historic spa town of Bath and the cathedral city of Salisbury. You could also enjoy a day trip to the Dorset Jurassic Coast. Enter into the hall from the yard; you will find a useful space to hang coats and put your muddy boots.
