The nearby village of St Mawes offers a lovely selection of independent boutique shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, alongside a pretty harbour and historic castle. From here you can jump on the pedestrian ferry and enjoy a day in Falmouth or take a cruise on Carrick Roads. In the summertime, enjoy a boat trip to the beautiful St Anthony Head. Other attractions accessible from here include the Cathedral city of Truro, boasting an array of shops and eateries.
