The hilltop town of Shaftesbury is well worth a visit and is home to the famous Gold Hill. Set within rolling pastureland known as the Blackmore Vale, there is an abundance of routes suitable for walking and riding within this picturesque landscape. Accessible attractions include Stourhead, Salisbury Cathedral, The Longleat Estate, Stonehenge, The Newt in Somerset and Haynes Motor Museum, the Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle, Dorchester, Weymouth, Monkey World and the Tank Museum.
